I'm so used to app developers giving the robotic "thanks for the feedback please email customer service" reply. I had a lot of trouble with the menus and already lost my save files so I was upset. It's even worse fpse folder makes itself hidden in the storage, so I can't even directly select it from within the app. I eventually got it to save and format, but the app needs to be just a little more user friendly. I haven't used any other ps1 emulator, so I don't know what to compare it to. However, I am completely satisfied with this app. There are many options for customization for game play. Switching controls for each button was a great setting. Also, this works amazing on my razer kishi (external game controller). It immediately detects my controller once plugged in. Smooth game play, no processing errors of any sort. Plus they constantly update this app for bugs which is a plus. Worth every cent!
